I have a job!!

I'll give more details soon, as I don't have a ton myself, but I've just accepted employment for the San Jose Unified School District :D. I'm going to be employed next year! I don't know what school yet, but I will hopefully be able to teach fourth grade :)

Definitely takes the stress off of the rest of this year. Just gotta make sure I don't get senioritis at my program now :)

Yahoo! Congrats. I've got a fourth grader now. You'll be buried in Mission projects at this time next year.

Thanks everyone!!!

Bob- Point well taken :) In my defense, I've sort of been seeing my student teaching as the unofficial start of my career and this as a job underneath that career umbrella, but I suppose this really will be the official start of that career. How exciting :D

michael ann- I'll be moving on over the hill. That was the plan in any event, since its a bit cheaper to live over there, and teachers make more, so it makes sense.

donald- I was actually up to my neck in missions this year, and am looking forward to doing it again!

Michelle- *gulp* I think you're right :D

Good for you, Addy...Congratulations! I went to school in the SJ Unified School District, and overall I think it is a fairly good school district. And you'll get to stay in the area and enjoy the local trails you have come to know.

Felicidades, Omedetou!

I sure hadn't run any ultras (nor did I have a real job) when I was your age.

Hey Addy,

That's great. Congratulations! My kids are student in SJ Unified. Perhaps you'll be teaching my daughter in a couple of years when she reaches 4th grade. ;-)
